Imagine... a fairy-tale Scottish wedding...
A full dress kilt is not an insignificant investment. If it's unlikely that
you would wear a kilt more than once, that means you'll probably be looking into
renting a kilt, as opposed to purchasing one. Great Scot Shop can help, as we
work with a number of authentic Scots retailers to sell and rent kilt packages.
What Is Included in Kilt Rentals from Great Scot?
If there is a large wedding party we can surely take care of your needs as
well. We can put all the orders on one credit card or the groomsmen can each
place their order on -line or via phone with their own credit card. We are here
to make your day and planning less stressful.

** The Prince Charlie Jackets are made in the UK, and I don't think they are as generous in the shoulders for our American guys. So if you are broad shouldered, stocky, etc. and normally wear a 44, it would be a good idea to order up a size, i.e., 46. |

NOTES on rentals:
- When ordering a rental online, please allow for lead time. We cannot guarantee you will receive a rental in the same week you order online. Please call us if you're really in a pinch...
- Rentals are shipped 2nd Day Air via UPS. You will get your rental on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
- Shipping is usually about $25 per outfit each way, depending on zip code.
- The rental must be returned on Monday via 2nd Day Air. A $20/day late fee applies.
- We can only accept credit cards for rentals, not checks.
- A $50 or $75 deposit (depending on the package) is charged when you place the order to hold the date and size for you. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. The remaining balance plus shipping will be charged to your card when the outfit ships.
- Finally...
- This is a very expensive outfit we have entrusted you with, this is not a costume. We have sent it to you in excellent condition. We know we probably will need to freshen the outfit before we send it to our next client. We understand normal wear and tear. But, if you sit in the wedding cake, burn a cigar hole in the kilt or someone throws a whipped cream pie at you... you will be responsible for the additional price of the cleaning, restoration or replacement of the garment.
